LoL Champions Winners Through the Years
One of the best ways to determine what team to bet on next is to look at the event’s historic winners. Out of the highly competitive field this year, T1 seems to be the only team that is appearing as a likely contender for the title again. Presently, T1 holds the biggest number of titles and runner-up showings in LoL Worlds, with a total of four titles and two runner-up experiences.

Where to Find the Best LoL World Odds
For those of you looking to bet on the outcome of the LoL Worlds 2024, you will be pleased to find out that tons of LoL esports betting sites provide you with the opportunity to place a wager on the outcome of every major event.
This year’s edition is no exception, and you can place future bets, or bet on individual parts of the event, such as the Group Swiss Stage, Knockout Stage, and naturally the Grand Final. Players may also bet on players and game props, as well as which teams will reach certain stages.
Individual games may be your best bet right now, as there seems to be oddsmaker bias against European and American League of Legends teams. The Asian teams seem to be given odds that may present the opportunity for upset.
Both Bovada and BetOnline will provide you with some excellent betting markets for the League of Legends World Championship 2024, so do not miss stopping by and see what’s available right now.
LoL Worlds 2024 – Likely Winners & Underdogs
There are very few League of Legends World Championships that fail to evoke the prowess of T1 as the most likely winner. This year, oddsmakers are somewhat more reserved, putting the team as a darkhorse at (+800) and essentially fifth likeliest in line to win the title.
Gen.G (+275) and Bilibili Gaming (+275) are tied to grab the top spot. Both teams have been known to defeat each other in head-to-head clashes, but they are not going to meet each other for a while in the event. With this said, Gen.G holds the most recent victory track record against Bilibili Gaming.
Hanwha Life is another interesting pick. The team has had a rough season, but it rallied and surprisingly managed to be listed as one of the top teams for this year’s title. Priced at (+300) is perhaps the best value for an underdog team you would get, given the team’s consistently strong performance never mind a shaky start.
LNG Esports and Top Esports are both priced at (+700) and they may actually have a good chance of securing the title, although none of the teams have made the finals before.
Best Player Props for LoL World Championships 2024
Player props are some of the best options to explore in any esports betting event. Yet, to have a better idea of what selections make sense it’s good to know who the MPVs of this year’s LoL Worlds are.
Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok
Faker remains the world’s best mid-laner and he has been the driving force behind T1’s success for a decade now. He brought in titles for his team in 2013 and then back-to-back in 2015 and 2016.
When people thought that T1 and the Faker legacy had fizzled out, the squad soared to victory in the 2023 Grand Final and secured their fourth title. Faker is habitually praised as the “GOAT,” a title that is not easily bestowed by the community.
His successes, sharp skills, and ability to exceed expectations and pull staggering moves have all contributed to him being featured heavily in player prop markets.
Eain ‘APA’ Stearns
Another player who may be an excellent opportunity for you to place player props on is Eain ‘APA’ Stearns, Team Liquid’s up-and-coming mid-laner. If he clashes with Faker, it would be a super interesting game, although the smart money is on the South Korean outclassing his North American homolog.
Team Liquid is a long shot for the title this year at (+2800), but APA can still offer some excellent value betting opportunities with the player props for him available at both Bovada and BetOnline. Generally, he is a player that you want to focus on.
Lee ‘Tarzan’ Seung-yong
Another great player to keep your eyes peeled for is Lee ‘Tarzan’ Seung-yong, the South Korean playing for Weibo Gaming as Jungler. Tarzan is one of the most venerated players on the competitive South Korean scene.
Whereas Faker has an innate game sense and can bring theory into execution in split seconds, Tarzan is a more reflective player who spends more time theory-crafting but relying on equally honed instincts and reflexes in the heat of battle.
Tarzan is generally a great player prop market to explore, and you will not regret spending a little more time taking a chance on the player.
