Last weekend, Christopher Bell kind of surprised bookmakers by winning the race in Phoenix despite being in shared sixth place on the list of favorites. It’s a whole different situation when it comes to the 2024 Food City 500 race. This time, he’s second favorite, just behind Kyle Larson.

Can Christopher Bell Win Again?
It’s been a while since someone won two races in a row in the regular season. No one did it last year, with Chase Elliott being the last to pull it off in 2022. Maybe it’s time for Cristopher Bell to do it?
He won last weekend’s race even though oddsmakers didn’t have too much faith in him. But he proved everything he’s a top-class driver. Another evidence that Bell is an elite contestant is that he’s the man who won the Food City 500 last season.
Bell wasn’t too impressive during the race, but it was the final couple of laps that he really took his performance to the next level.
Other Drivers to Pay Attention to at 2024 Food City 500
Kyle Larson is generally considered to be one of the finest drivers in NASCAR, which is why it’s no surprise that he’s the No. 1 favorite to win the race on Sunday. Bell is just behind him, followed by Denny Hamlin who hasn’t had the best start to the season.
The veteran’s best finish in 2024 is 8th place in Las Vegas. He also doesn’t have great memories from Bristol. Last season, for example, he finished in 22nd place. Still, bookies seem to think that his bad luck in Tennessee races will end this coming weekend.
Larson, Bell, and Hamlin are the only three drivers with NASCAR odds shorter than +1000. There are nine drivers with odds in the range from +1100 to +1800, most notably, Ryan Blaney, the winner of last season’s Driver’s championship who’s currently sitting in the No. 1 place in the standings.
2024 Food City 500 Prediction
Everything seems to be going in Cristopher Bell’s favor ahead of the 2024 Food City 500. Not only does he love this event, but his confidence must be sky-high after the triumph in Phoenix last weekend.
Pick: Christopher Bell
