Dissecting the Chances of the Top 2024 GEICO 500 Favorites

Ryan Blaney is one of the drivers that tend to do very well in Talladega, which is why he’s sitting at the top of the favorites list with the GEICO 500 odds of +1000.

2024 GEICO 500 Underdog to Watch Out For

Kyle Larson looks like the most interesting underdog bet given that this guy is the No. 1 driver in the Drivers’ Standings. He’s won one race this season (in Vegas) and has had the pole position in each of the last three races.

Last weekend, he looked set to win the race at Texas Motor Speedway, after taking the No. 1 position in Stage One. However, his wheel fell off, so he ended up in the 21^st position, which was his worst finish since the second race of the season.

We think it’s time for Kyle Larson to win his first race in over a month. He’s a fantastic driver, but his team hasn’t been great this season, which explains the mishap he had in the previous race. This time, his car is supposed to work smoothly, which should allow him to put on a great show in Talladega.
