2024 Pennzoil 400 NASCAR Odds, Time, and Prediction
It’s time for the third race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. The event in question is the Pennzoil 400, which will take place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 3

William Byron is the defending champion of the Pennzoil 400 and is the shared-second favorite to win the race on March 3. The man who won the NASCAR Cup Series Drivers’ Championship last year, Ryan Blaney, has the same odds as him. Still, the main favorite, however, is Kyle Larson, the man who finished as the runner-up in the last season’s NASCAR Cup Series.

When, Where, and How to Watch?
- Place: Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Las Vegas, Nevada
- Date: Sunday, March 3, 2024
- Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
- How to Watch: FOX
Reasons Why Kyle Larson Is the Top 2024 Pennzoil 400 Favorite
Kyle Larson is one of the best NASCAR drivers of his generation. He won the title in 2021, then went on to finish seventh in 2023, before getting to the No. 2 spot at the end of last season.
Still, the main reason why he’s the top favorite to triumph on Sunday, March 3, is that he seems to love racing in Vegas.
Kyle Larson finished second in the last two Pennzoil 400 races, while in 2021, he won this event. His worst record in this race was the No. 19 finish, which happened 10 years ago. Obviously, he’s almost certain to do well this coming weekend, but will he actually win the race? Not if you’re asking the defending champ, William Byron.
Can William Byron Win the Pennzoil 400 Race Again?
William Byron is the man who won last year’s Pennzoil 400 race and who finished in the Top 10 in the two races before that. What makes us think that he could win it again is that he’s been great since the start of the 2024 season.
In fact, Byron started the season with a win at Daytona. He didn’t do great in the second race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series, finishing in the No. 17 place. However, you can be 100% certain that he’s going to do all he can to do better this time.
Other 2024 Pennzoil 400 Contenders
Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, and Joey Logano are the only active NASCAR Cup Series drivers who have won the Pennzoil 400 twice. What’s interesting is that none of them did particularly great in last season’s race.
Harvick finished 9th, Keselowski 17th, and Logano finished in last place. Logano did, however, win the pole position, but he lost control of his car during the race, hitting the wall and spinning into the grass, from which he wasn’t able to recover by the end of the race.
2024 Pennzoil 400 Prediction
Kyle Larson, William Byron, or Joey Logano – we are confident that one of these three will win the Pennzoil 400 race on March 3. If you’re a fan of sleeper bets, Logano is a great bet for you. If you like playing it safe, Larson is the man for you.
Still, we think that the best bet is Byron. He’s got a very good chance to win, and his odds are great.
Pick: William Byron
