2024 Shriners Children’s 500 NASCAR Odds, Time, and Prediction
It’s time for the fourth race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. The event in question is the Shriners Children's 500, which will take place at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, March 10

Last week, we predicted that the Pennzoil 400 will be won by one of these three drivers – Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, or William Byron. Larson won the race, Logano had the pole position. It’s just Byron who sort of disappointed his fans by finishing 10th. Maybe he can do better at the 2024 Shriners Children’s 500?
He is the man who won this race last year, and judging by the 2024 Shriners Children’s 500 odds, the chance of him defending the title is pretty good. Along with Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, and Ross Chastain, he’s one of the top favorites with the odds shorter than +1000.

Top 2024 Shriners Children’s 500 Favorites
With the 2024 Shriners Children’s 500 betting odds of +450, Kyle Larson is the top favorite to win the race this coming Sunday. It’s no surprise given that he has been brilliant since the start of the season.
Not only did Larson win the previous race, but we saw him finish 11th in the season opener. The only race in which he kind of underperformed was the one in Atlanta two weeks ago, in which he finished last after suffering a collision mid-race.

Ryan Blaney is seen as the No. 2 favorite to win the race at Phoenix Raceway, the main reason being that he finished on the podium in the previous two races of the 2024 season. And let’s not forget that he’s the reigning champ of the NASCAR Cup Series.
Just behind them on the list of 2024 Shriners Children’s 500 favorites is William Byron, the winner of last year’s race. There are two more drivers with odds shorter than +1000, namely, Denny Hamlin and Ross Chastain.
Hamlin hasn’t done much this season, with his best finish being the No. 8 position last weekend. However, everyone knows that this guy can do much, much better. Chastain, on the other hand, did alright in the last two races, but is yet to win an event in 2024. In fact, he hasn’t won a race since June last year.
Sleepers to Watch Out for at 2024 Shriners Children’s 500
In last season’s Shriners Children’s 500 race, Alex Bowman was the third-fastest driver in the pre-race practice. He didn’t do great in the qualifying session, finishing 18th, which cost him a lot in the actual race. In the end, he finished 9th, which is actually a great achievement considering everything.
This time, we suspect he might do even better. With the Shriners Children’s 500 odds of +4000, he does look like a very interesting bet. The same goes for Tyler Reddick, whose confidence must be sky-high after finishing second last weekend in Vegas.
Shriners Children’s 500 Prediction
As is always the case with races like this, the winner can be anyone as milliseconds determine the race-winner. Any of the top five favorites looks capable of winning, but we’re gonna go with an underdog this time.
Our prediction is Alex Bowman. Even if he doesn’t win the race, we are confident that he will have his best record of the season so far. That’s why our top Shriners Children’s 500 pick is Bowman Top 5 Finish, which is +600 at BetUS.
Pick: Alex Bowman Top 5 Finish
