Brazilian Wins Mystery Bounty Venom, Grabs $617,333
The Mystery Bounty Venom brought together a huge number of entries (3,234) which carried the total prize pool to $8,085,000.
The tourney boasted a whopping $8 million guarantee and was won by 30-year-old poker pro Ivan ‘chickenpastry’ Limeira.
The Brazilian player took home the title along with a payout of $572,333 and a $45,000 bounty after defeating Hungarian player im_so_sh0rt.
Limeira commented on his victory, saying he was “grateful and relieved that all the hard work actually paid off” while calling Venom “one of the world’s best poker tournaments” and explaining “playing in the Mystery Bounty format is extra exciting with the huge bounties.”
He wasn’t the only Brazilian at the final table, as “chickenpastry” was joined by Fabiano “JohnNoArma” Kovalski who finished in third place and took home $378,083, and Dante “BARRELSWEET” Goya who pocketed $245,214 from the fourth position.
WSOP Bracelet Winner Faraz Jaka Grabs $500K Mystery Bounty
Poker coach and WSOP bracelet winner Faraz ‘The-Toilet 0’ Jaka reigned over the first Mystery Bounty tourney he ever attended, claiming the top bounty prize of $500,000.
“Boooooom!! Just pulled the top $500k bounty in the $2650 Venom $8m gtd Mystery Bounty on ACR POKER,” Jaka posted on X. He later commented his win “came out of nowhere,” claiming “It was meant to be” especially since it was also his wife’s birthday.
Player provideordivide won a mystery bounty of $158,750 while !Alexyo took home $153,750.
ACR Pros Chris Moneymaker, Drew Gonzalez, Jon Pardy, and Michael Loncar also competed in the Mystery Bounty Venom.
Moneymaker finished in 302nd for $3,039. Pardy live-streamed Day 2 on ACR’s official Twitch channel.
ACR Poker’s largest PLO tourney in history displayed a $2 million guarantee and attracted 914 participants for a prize pool of $2,332,500.
Player omahafyrarolls was crowned the ultimate winner, securing $471,378 in first prize.
Chris Moneymaker praised the “solid turnout and fun atmosphere in the dual Venom tourneys” while congratulating “all the winners and those who hit those life-changing bounties.”
The action continues with the recently announced $5 million GTD Supersized Tourney Week prior to the whopping Online Super Series XL with $40 million in guarantees in September.
