Reasons Why Champions League Odds Favor Arsenal
Mikel Arteta’s men have been sensational in the 2024-25 Champions League. They finished the group phase in the No. 3 position with a 6-1-1 record and a 16:3 score difference. Then, when the playoffs started, the Gunners really upped their game.
In the Round of 16, they simply demolished PSV. In the Netherlands, they beat them 7:1, while in the rematch in England, it was 2:2.
They were even more impressive in the semifinal, in which they locked horns with last season’s Champions League winner – Real Madrid.
The first game was played in London and thanks to a masterful performance by Declan Rice, the Gunners won 3:0.
In the rematch in Madrid, Los Blancos were supposed to attack with all they’ve got, but the boys from England outsmarted them and got themselves another win (2:1).
PSG’s Chance to Get to the UCL Final for the First Time Ever
Paris Sait-Germain FC is the biggest soccer club in France, but this team has never played in the final of the Champions League. The closest they got is the semifinal stage, where they’re now currently.
The last time they reached this phase of the competition was in 2021 when their roster was full of superstars – Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Mauro Icardi, Angel Di Maria, and others.
But none of them are still in Paris. In fact, only two players from that generation are still playing for PSG – Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe.
Obviously, a lot has changed over the last four years, but PSG’s 2025 squad looks pretty decent. They don’t have any superstars as before, but there’s at least one good player for every position on the field.
Kvitcha Kvaratskhelia, who joined from Napoli this season, is arguably their biggest star, along with Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola, who have been in top form in 2025.
