Asmongold to Stream on Kick, Says He Will Not Gamble
Asmongold reassured his fans that he isn’t going to gamble, despite Kick’s traditional association with gambling

Zack “Asmongold,” an internet celebrity and popular content creator, has become the latest streamer to join the Stake.com-backed streaming platform Kick. This is in line with a previous announcement in which Asmongold confirmed his intention to stream on multiple platforms.
Asmongold Joined the Kick Family
On June 1, Kick confirmed that Asmongold has become the latest content creator to join its platform and welcomed him to the “Kick family.” In response, Asmongold teased that “MULTISTREAMING BEGINS TOMORROW” meaning that he will be present on both the Amazon-owned Twitch and the Stake.com-owned Kick starting on June 2.

Trainwreckstv, a fellow streamer who is one of the founding members, also welcomed Asmongold on board, commenting with a “W” on the Kick post, which is an internet slang for a big win.
Asmongold has been in the streaming business for years, having started in 2009, long before streaming became mainstream. Originally known for his gaming content, Asmongold has now cemented himself as an outspoken online celebrity who does not shy away from disclosing his honest opinion on trending topics and the latest controversies.
Boasting some 3.6 million followers on Twitch, as well as almost 3.7 million subscribers on YouTube, Asmongold is poised to become one of Kick’s strongest partners. As of the time of this writing, he has 10.2K followers on the platform even prior to holding his first stream.
Asmongold Is Not Leaving Twitch
Asmongold addressed his foray into the world of Kick, saying that multistreaming, which refers to the streaming on multiple platforms, is the future. In addition to reassuring his Twitch followers that “not a single thing” would change for them, he listed some of his reasons for joining the Stake.com-owned platform.
First of all, he said that he cannot stream on YouTube as it is “not feasible” for him due to DMCA. He also said that “multistreaming is the future.” He added that he would have joined Kick earlier but the platform didn’t have a multistreaming feature at the time.
The reason why I am doing it, is that I think that, there are a lot of reasons, but one of the reasons is that I think multistreaming is the future, and I think that fixating on one platform and forcing people to be exclusive on one platform is reductive for content creators.

Asmongold Will Not Gamble
In the meantime, Asmongold reassured his fans that he isn’t going to gamble, despite Kick’s traditional association with gambling.
Are you going to gamble? No, I don’t like gambling, why would I gamble? No, no, I talked to the guys there [at Kick], I’ve had a good relationship with them, so we set something up and I joined the program, and that’s it.

Kick launched shortly after Twitch cracked down on most gambling content, to the dismay of the Slots community. This, paired with the Amazon-owned platform’s restrictive policies, led to many streamers leaving Twitch and starting to stream on Kick.
However, with multistreaming now available, content creators will no longer be forced to make that choice.
