Aston Villa’s Players Dreaming Big in 2024
Last season, the Villans finished 4th in the Premier League; can they do even better this time around? Based on their first performance of the season, they might. These guys looked really well against West Ham at London Stadium, winning the game 2:1 in the end. It was a fun game to watch, with the two teams going back and forth throughout the 90 minutes.
But beating West Ham is much easier than beating Arsenal. The Gunners prefer having the ball in their possession, which is why the Villans will have no other option but to look for their chances from counter-attacks.
Luckily for them, they have plenty of amazing forwards on the roster, some of whom are incredibly fast – Leon Bailey, Jhon Duran, Ollie Watkins, etc.
Arsenal’s Players Have Set Their Eyes on the Title
Last season, the Gunners finished second in the Premier League, with just two points fewer than Manchester City. Now, they’re determined to end their trophy drought and win their first Premier League title since 2004.
Can they pull it off? Well, they did look really good against Wolves, getting the job done without any stress. It was 2:0 for the Gunners, with goals by Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka who also assisted each other.
Apart from controlling the game and creating plenty of goal chances, Arsenal’s players also did great offensively. As a result, their goalkeeper David Raya only had to intervene on three occasions.
Aston Villa vs. Arsenal Prediction
Last season, Aston Villa beat Arsenal in both of their Premier League matches. Had they won just one of those two games, the Gunners would now be the defending champions. But they didn’t. They didn’t do it because the Villans can be really tough to play against. We think the Gunners will struggle against them once again, but we do think they will beat them this time around.
Pick: Arsenal
