Attacker in Reno Casino Sex Assaults Sentenced to Life in Prison
After the attacker assaulted two victims at different casinos in a single day, he was hit with a life imprisonment with the option for parole after serving 20 years

A 27-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison after assaulting two women at casinos in Reno. The man was involved in two separate incidents before he was arrested by law enforcement.
Identified with the initials B.E., the 27-year-old man pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault with the use of a deadly weapon, as well as battery with intent to commit sexual assault against an older person.
Deputy District Attorney Darcy Cameron asked for a life sentence considering the trauma the man inflicted upon the two victims. On Monday this week, Judge Lynne Jones agreed with the proposed penalty, sentencing B.E. to life in prison. The Reno man who attacked the two women will be eligible for parole after serving a minimum of 20 years from his sentence.
Elsewhere in Nevada, a sex worker risks prison time after stealing expensive items belonging to a client. The prostitute is suspected of stealing an expensive necklace and watch after having sex with a man at the Bellagio Las Vegas Hotel back in July 2022.
The Assailant Visited Two Casinos, Assaulting Two Women
The shocking assaults against the two women by the 27-year-old date back to December. Both attacks occurred on the same day at different Reno casinos.
During the first attack. B.E. gained access to an employee area at an unnamed casino where he cornered a 63-year-old employee. The attacker groped the woman aggressively. With the help of two other workers, the attacker was pushed away from the victim. Then, the 27-year-old culprit fled the crime scene.
The case was immediately reported to the Reno Police Department. Investigating the case, law enforcement secured CCTV footage that captured the crime.
The second sexual attack was even more violent than the first one. On the same day the first crime occurred, the 27-year-old visited another casino where he attempted to assault a second victim. The man entered a women’s restroom and waited for his victim.
One woman who saw the attacker enter purposefully waited outside but, in the end, thought that he had left. Once entering a stall, the woman was shocked to see the assailant slide underneath the door.
After that, the attacker threatened the victim with a knife, started kissing her and wanted to have sex with her. The shocked victim convinced B.E. that they would go to her hotel room and have sex.
The two exited the restroom and as they were climbing up an escalator, the attacker pushed the woman to the ground and attempted to assault her. The victim was rescued with the help of bystanders while the attacker once again fled the scene.
Later on the same day after the two attacks, B.E. was arrested. Law enforcement found a pocketknife in his possession.
