Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 7 Odds, Time, and Prediction

Both teams have been amazing lately, each with a 4-2 record coming into Week 7. In the case of the Ravens, it’s no surprise given that they’ve got an amazing roster in 2024. With the Bucs, it’s a bit different story. This team isn’t packed with superstars, but they just seem to keep on putting on great performances.
Will they do the same on Monday, October 21, when they welcome the Ravens at Raymond James Stadium?

Baltimore Ravens are Favored for a Reason
The odds that the Baltimore Ravens will win the Week 7 MNF game are -180. They’re five-point favorites right now, suggesting that they should have a relatively easy job in Tampa.
The reason why bookies think so is that the Ravens have been really good lately. They did start the season slowly, losing their first two games. However, once they figured out their game plan, they went on to win the next four.
The best thing is that each of those four wins happened against real tough opponents, namely:
- Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Week 3 (28:25)
- Buffalo Bills at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 4 (35:10)
- Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium in Week 5 (41:38 after overtime)
- Washington Commanders at M&T Bank Stadium in Week 6 (30:23)
It’s no surprise that they’re playing great football as they’ve got some real elite players on the roster. Their quarterback Lamar Jackson is last season’s MVP, and in 2024, they’ve got legendary Derrick Henry as their running back.
On top of everything, their defense has been very solid in almost every game of the season. Their average is 24.8 points conceded per game, which isn’t great. However, that’s mainly because they conceded 38 against Cincy. In all other games, they conceded significantly fewer.
Bucs Looking for Their First Win Against the Ravens Since 2002
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a very bad record against the Baltimore Ravens, having lost each of their last five games. They did beat them once in preseason, but the last time they did it when it mattered was in the regular season of 2002.
Fast-forward to 2024, and the Bucs have every right to hope for a good result. They’re in great shape, coming back home after a huge 51:27 win over the New Orleans Saints on the road.

The Saints were without their starting quarterback, but they did give war to the Bucs. Tampa’s QB Baker Mayfield was responsible for four touchdowns, but he also got three of his passes intercepted.
Luckily for him, the Bucs runners stepped up, especially Sean Tucker and Bucky Irving, showing the football universe that this team has plenty of weapons in its arsenal.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction
Judging by the moneyline odds, the Ravens are likely to win. We agree with oddsmakers on this, but we don’t think they’re going to cover the five-point spread. The Bucs are in amazing form and they’re playing on their turf, which is why we’re certain they’re going to give the Ravens real war on Monday night.
Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +5
