With a roster full of goalscoring machines like Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal, it’s no surprise that Barca has scored at least a goal in every Champions League game since 2025.

Meanwhile, Inter’s defensive fortress built of incredible center-backs like Alessandro Bastoni, Francesco Acerbi, and Benjamin Pavard, has kept a clean sheet in 75% of this season’s Champions League games.

Champions League Odds Favor Barcelona

Barca is an odds-on favorite to win the April 30 game. This may seem a bit strange, but oddsmakers aren’t crazy to give such short odds without reason. The No. 1 reason is that Barcelona is in great form in all competitions.

Not only do Hansi Flick’s men have a chance to win the Champions League trophy, but they’re also at the top of the Spanish La Liga. They also have a chance to win the Cup if they beat Los Blancos. To see whether they can pull it off, make sure to read our 2025 Copa Del Rey Final prediction.

Apart from being in great shape, these guys are favored for playing on home turf. In Barcelona, they are without a loss in the Champions League this season with five wins and one draw, which happened against Atalanta.

In those six home games, we saw them score a total of 21 goals or 3.5 goals per game on average. But will they be able to score so many goals against Inter Milan, which has one of the best defenses in the world?

Can Inter Milan Deal With Barca’s Offense?

Inter Milan is an excellent team with plenty of excellent players in all positions. Still, it’s their defense that’s their strongest weapon. These guys are incredibly difficult to score against, the proof being that they kept a clean sheet in 8 of this season’s 12 UCL games.

Further, they only conceded more than one goal in one of those games. The game in question was the second-leg quarterfinal duel against Bayern Munich. Played in Milan, the game ended 2:2.

The German team created 20 goal chances that day, but only one-tenth of those hit the net, which is another evidence of Inter Milan’s defensive power.

Barcelona vs. Inter Prediction

Inter Milan’s defense is great, so they probably won’t allow too many goals. But they will concede at least one because Barcelona’s offense is superb. That said, we do expect a relatively low-scoring game on April 30, with Barca being our moneyline pick.
