Barcelona Ready for Another Big Performance
Barcelona has a 3-2 lead on aggregate, which means that even a draw would suit Xavi’s team fine. However, these guys love winning, especially when playing on their turf. This is why it’s only logical to assume they will throw everything they’ve got at PSG; in the same manner they did in the first game of the Champions League doubleheader.
Brazilian winger Raphinha was their best player in the first game, scoring two goals. The former Leeds player has been in fantastic shape lately. Even though he was signed as a backup player, this guy has turned into one of Barca’s key men. He got his chance when Pedri and other forwards got injured. It’s needless to say he took his chance.
Speaking of Pedri, the talented Spaniard has finally returned from an injury that kept him away for months. More good news for Barcelona is that the same is the case with players like Frenkie de Jong and Ferran Torres. In fact, the only first-team players who are likely to miss Tuesday’s game are Alejandro Balde and Gavi, but Barca can definitely do fine without them.
PSG Players Need to Go All-In on April 16
PSG is the biggest soccer club in France, which has achieved everything that can be achieved in domestic competitions. However, this team hasn’t done much on the continent. Their No. 1 goal is to win the Champions League, but every season so far, they’ve come short of achieving it.
They had huge ambitions for the 2024 UCL, but after losing 3-2 to Barca last week, their hopes probably aren’t as high. However, PSG does have some phenomenal players on the roster, so we could see him upset the odds on Tuesday.
With Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha, and others, this team looks capable of beating Barcelona. The best thing for them is that there’s no away goal rule anymore, meaning that they just need to win by one goal to take the game to extra time.
Barcelona vs. PSG Prediction
PSG will go all-in on Tuesday, possibly scoring a goal or two early on. If that happens, Barca will have no other option but to strike back. As a result, we are likely to witness goals galore on April 16. But which team will score more? We think it’s going to be PSG.
Pick: PSG & Over 3.5 Goals
