Betfred USA Selects Kresimir Spajic for CEO Role
The addition of Spajic is expected to help the company strengthen its US-facing presence and continue growing

The global gaming operator that has a strong presence in Great Britain with its 1,350 betting shops, Betfred Group, announced a new senior-level appointment, strengthening its operations in the United States. On Thursday, the company revealed that it hired the seasoned executive with a track record, Kresimir Spajic. Joining Betfred’s C-suite, he was appointed to the role of CEO of Betfred USA.
Bringing extensive experience and knowledge, Spajic is expected to play a key role in the growth of the company’s US-facing operations. As CEO of Betfred USA, he will oversee strategic processes and spearhead the company’s vision and growth across the country. Spajic will be in charge of strategic operational processes for the 10 states where Betfred operates, including jurisdictions such as Nevada, Ohio and Colorado.

Currently, Spajic holds a multidisciplinary graduate degree in management, law and humanities from the De Montfort University in England, Switzerland’s University of Neuchâtel and SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy. He has extensive experience within the gambling sector after holding senior-level roles with Hard Rock International, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Bwin, as well as Rush Street Interactive and Apollo Global Management, among others.
