BetRivers Lounge at PPG Paints Arena Elevates Game-Day Experience

The PPG Paints Arena, home of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL), saw Saturday a new branded, hi-tech addition, the all-new BetRivers Lounge.
Sportsbook-Style Lounge
The BetRivers Lounge, located on the FedEx level, was opened as part of the exclusive deal between the NHL franchise and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh signed in September 2020, under which the casino became the official sports betting sponsor of the Penguins.
“The BetRivers Lounge is yet another investment delivered under our Rivers partnership to enhance fan experiences inside PPG Paints Arena. The lounge will provide a safe and exciting space for fans to enjoy an innovative and multimedia experience while attending Pens games and other live sporting events year-round.”
David Morehouse, President and CEO, Pittsburgh Penguins
The sportsbook-style lounge features two rows of bowl seats, a lounge area with club chairs, and a generous top bar, while entertainment is provided by hi-definition video screens and streaming odds boards.
“Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is particularly proud of our longstanding relationship with the Penguins, and we’re delighted that the BetRivers Lounge is now open. The architectural renderings have come to life perfectly, and the views of the ice are terrific.”
Bill Keena, General Manager, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh
Wagering Options to Elevate Experience
BetRivers, the sports betting and online gaming brand of Rush Street Interactive (RSI) and Official Sportsbook of the Pittsburgh Penguins, will power the streaming boards with live odds and propositions, looking to elevate customer game-day experience.
“The BetRivers Lounge symbolizes our strong partnership with the Penguins, five-time Stanley Cup champions, and our commitment to Pittsburgh sports generally. The new lounge enhances the experience of watching live and wagering in real-time. We are proud to be the exclusive sportsbook of this winning franchise.”
Mattias Stetz, Chief Operating Officer, Rush Street Interactive
Created by the same designer company, DMAC Architecture of Chicago, the BetRivers Lounge at PPG Paints Arena replicates the look and feel of the sportsbook at Rivers Casino on the North Shore.
RSI was the first gaming operator to launch online sports betting in Pennsylvania, one of the states in which its sports betting and iGaming brand BetRivers established presence, besides Illinois, New Jersey, Indiana, Virginia, Iowa, Michigan, and Colorado.
Rivers Casino and the Pittsburgh Penguins have been linked even prior to their sports betting deal last year via the Lemieux Foundation set by hockey legend Mario Lemieux, which serves as a partner for the casino and a preferred charity for the NHL franchise.
