Bragg Gaming Unveils Partnership with and Stake in RapidPlay

The agreement is in line with Bragg’s broader strategy to expand in Brazil, which is poised to become a core market for the company

Bragg Gaming Group, a global provider of iGaming content and technology, unveiled the acquisition of a strategic equity stake in RapidPlay, a Brazilian game development studio. In addition to that, Bragg confirmed a partnership with the Brazilian game specialist.

RapidPlay Is a Brazilian Visionary

According to Bragg, RapidPlay is a high-performance studio founded by seasoned industry veterans with deep roots in LATAM gaming. The announcement further stated that the studio is renowned for its cutting-edge casino games that have been designed to suit the needs of the Brazilian and broader Latin American markets.

Bragg said that RapidPlay, which has quickly built a reputation for state-of-the-art, culturally attuned casino content, will be a valuable partner.

Speaking of which, the partnership will see Bragg receive an equity stake in RapidPlay. In addition to that, the former company has entered into an exclusive commercial distribution agreement with the LATAM-based provider.

As a result, RapidPlay’s content will be injected into Bragg’s content portfolio, allowing the up-and-coming Brazilian game specialist to reach a broader audience. Through Bragg’s distribution framework, RapidPlay’s games will reach many licensed operators in Brazil, and, by extension, millions of fans.

The Deal Reflects the Importance of Brazil to Bragg

Commenting on the deal, Bragg praised RapidPlay’s highly efficient cost development model for producing high-quality, localized content as “particularly attractive” to the B2B powerhouse. The former company added that its new partner’s content supports scalability and margin efficiency, which are very important in emerging markets.

Under the terms, Bragg also has an option to acquire a controlling stake in RapidPlay.

The tie-up between Bragg and RapidPlay will see the two work on new titles, which will be powered by Fuze, Bragg’s bespoke engagement technology.

The overall agreement is in line with Bragg’s broader strategy to expand in Brazil after launching in the country’s fresh online gaming market on January 1, 2025. Bragg previously reported that it has already partnered with a staggering third of all licensed operators in the country. According to the company’s estimates, Brazil could contribute up to 10% of the company’s total revenue in 2025.

Rapid Play Is Excited to Bolster Its Impact

Representatives of Bragg and RapidPlay shared their thoughts on the new partnership, expressing excitement about their shared future in Brazil.

Neill Whyte, Bragg Gaming Group’s chief commercial officer, called the partnership with and stake in RapidPlay “more than just an investment.” According to him, this latest deal is a strategic move that will reinforce Bragg’s differentiated product in Latin America.
