Monroe County residents Stephen Juhasz III and Shana Juhasz have much to be happy about after they bagged a $7-million win from Pennsylvania Lottery’s Cash4Life game. The couple has much to celebrate as they will now find a financial respite in their otherwise busy lives. Yet, they are not prepared to give up on their dreams or jobs.

Couple Wins $7M from Cash4Life, Vows to Study More and Become Better Professionals

Stephen, who is a McDonald’s restaurant manager and Shana, who is a nurse and attends school, will be able to use the money to first see Shana through school. As to the rest of the money, there are myriad ways they can use it to improve their lives, from working less to focusing on themselves more.

However, neither is showing any willingness to give up on their careers just yet and if anything – they are looking to become better at their jobs.

Shana does want to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner and she will be pushing forward with her plans regardless. The couple won earlier this month, following the January 3 drawing of Cash4Life, but the Pennsylvania Lottery took until recently to reveal more details about their inspiring win.

The couple have been known to participate in the lottery frequently, with Stephen not past revealing that he has been buying into Powerball and Mega Millions draws frequently, and Shana just purchasing the occasional ticket herself.

In this instance, it was not Stephen’s good fortune that struck, but Shana’s. Regardless, the couple presented a united front. Shana’s Cash4Life ticket will now have a transformative impact on the couple’s quality of life and allow them to pursue their dreams, they shared with lottery officials.

Interesting, Shana didn’t even bother with the numbers – she just hit the Quick Pick option to have them randomized instead! Shana though did ask Stephen for help figuring out if her number had won. She related the numbers to him, and Stephen immediately understood what had just happened.

New Millionaires But Regular People All The Same

He told his boss he had to leave, and ran to meet his wife, realizing that they were millionaires! Among the immediate treats the couple is planning to get is a trip to Walt Disney World, and the family shares three kids – 10, 9 and 2.

Stephen himself, similarly, inspired by Shana’s tenacity as a mother, a professional, and a student, said that he will use the $7 million they won not to overindulge, but capitalize on the money by also going back into school.
