Catena Media Picks Manuel Stan as Permanent CEO
One of the leading gambling affiliate companies in the world has had another shake-up at the highest tier with the appointment of a permanent CEO

Manuel Stan, a former Kindred Group executive, now steps into the role. He will be running the company out of Las Vegas and will be responsible for both the group’s North American and global market operations.
Two-Decade Industry Veteran to Lead Catena’s NA and Global Efforts
Stan will be assuming the top job at the company on July 1, 2024. As a now former SVP of North America for Kindred Group of 16 years and an industry veteran with more than 20 years under his belt, Stan is one of the individuals uniquely placed to lead the business as he understands the affiliate, marketing, and operational realities of the market today, having witnessed first-hand the industry’s evolution over the past two decades.
His expertise spans other areas as well, including customer marketing, business development, financial planning, analysis, and corporate governance. He also holds an Executive Management Program Diploma from Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Economics from Bucharest University of Economic Studies, blending his professional background with a solid educational pedigree.
Commenting on his appointment, Stan was indeed pleased to have the opportunity to rise to this new challenge and take the reins at one of the most formidable industry companies. As part of his immediate objectives, he will seek to strengthen the company’s presence in the North American market.
“This is a strong business with talented employees and I look forward to working with the teams to capitalize fully on the opportunities that lie ahead,” Stan added.
Catena Media Very Happy with New Pick of CEO
His appointment was similarly welcomed among the Board of Directors, with media Chairman Göran Blomberg confident that the new hire has been a good pick as the company seeks to expand and consolidate its market presence in the North American market.
“His close knowledge of the North American market and both the operator and affiliate sides of the business will be a significant asset for Catena Media and our North America-focused organization as we begin this new chapter for the group,” Blomberg added.
Stan is also picking the baton from Pierre Cadena who is the interim CEO of the company, as Stan is being onboarded and further familiarized with the company’s needs and immediate strategic priorities. With several states expanding their gambling industries over the past months, Catena has much to look forward to. A lot of what happens next will also depend on Stan.
