Two AFC North rivals lock horns in the Thursday Night Football game of Week 10. Both teams did very well on the weekend, each blowing out their opponent. Still, it’s the Ravens who are in better shape in 2024, which explains why NFL odds are favoring them to beat the Bengals come November 7.

Cincinnati Bengals Offense Keeps Getting Better
The Bengals are 4-5 in the 2024 NFL with three of those five losses happening in the first three game weeks. Their form has improved significantly since then, and in their most recent game, they blew out the Las Vegas Raiders 41:24, which was their best offensive performance this season.

Cincinnati’s quarterback Joe Burrow was fantastic in that game, going 27/39 for 251 yards and five touchdowns, with just one interception. Their defense conceded 24 points, which isn’t great, but is still better than what they did in most other games in 2024. In fact, in five other games, they conceded 24 or more.
One of those was their first game with the Baltimore Ravens – they lost 41:38 after overtime. Can they do better this time around?
Baltimore Ravens Looking Really Good Right Now
The Ravens look like a team that could challenge for the AFC title this season. They’re 6-3 overall, which is actually a great record given that their schedule has been ugly. But these guys seem to play their best football when facing tough opponents.
This is actually no surprise considering that they’ve got some real elite players on the roster, particularly in the offensive team. Their quarterback is last season’s MVP Lamar Jackson, and in 2024, they also have Derrick Henry at running back. This explains why their points average is 31.4 at the moment.
Their defense isn’t as impressive, with 24.3 points conceded per game. However, the main reason behind this is that they’ve played against some real good offenses so far. This includes the Bengals as well, but also the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bulls, and so on.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction
Our prediction is that this is going to be a very close game, with plenty of points on both sides. The Ravens are 6.5-point favorites, but we think Joe Burrow & Co. can make things much more interesting. As a result, the Bengals shouldn’t lose by such a big margin (if they lose at all).
Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +6.5
