Couple Who Played “F— Donald Trump” Song Gets Car Shot, Themselves Arrested
A couple who taunted the Republican nominee for the presidency in front of a Las Vegas residence displaying support signs for the former POTUS had their car sprayed with bullets and were subsequently arrested
Jennifer Lund and Timothy Parks, an anti-Trump activity, got in trouble last week after a violent incident involving their car, a Tesla, adding to the surrealism of what transpired next.
The couple, which had parked in front of a residence that was displaying pro-Trump signage played a popular political song that has largely become known as “F— Donald Trump,” and has been the cause of mirth and angst among political buffs, according to police reports cited by KLAS, a local TV station.

This brash display has led to a sinister incident involving Lund and Parks’ car being sprayed with bullets from what is supposedly a known perpetrator, who had not been arrested as of the time of writing. Responding to the scene, police, though, took Lund and Parks in custody and remanded them to the Clark County Detention Center.
The incident was well-documented, and police were aware of the facts. Parks, who is the owner of the Tesla, touted the pro-Trump supporters, with three men emerging from an unspecified location – probably the residence – and heading over to Parks.
After a heated exchange, one of the men stepped forward and punched Parks. Another produced a firearm and threatened Parks, who was now in the car and preparing to speed away. Before he did, however, Parks drove through one of the three men’s feet. The man with the firearm than proceeded to pellet the car with bullets as it was speeding away, leaving numerous bullet holes in the vehicle.
At least seven shots were fired. Lund and Parks said that their attitude was completely justified, as the people had a pro-Trump sign in their yard, and the couple felt completely justified to express their political views similarly, but did not comment on the fact they nearly ran over a person when leaving the scene.
Shots Fired, But Couple Who Instigated the Brawl Gets Arrested
Lund and Parks’ behavior was not a one-off thing. They had previously visited the house, and the events leading up to the shooting had festered for a while, making this not the unprovoked attack it was originally thought to be.
It did not help that the couple had openly stated their hatred of Donald Trump to the media and in front of a court. The couple had to pay a $20,000 bond set by Judge Rebecca Saxe over their involvement. However, the people who shot at their car did not face any consequences at least as of now.
Donald Trump has been not necessarily one of the most threatened candidates for the presidency, but a fatal shooting that grazed the candidate’s ear in July, immediately raised the stakes.
The Republican Party used the opportunity to blame their political rivals, the Democrats, for fomenting social unrest and radicalizing people into turning to violence to advance their political agendas, i.e. the Democratic Party’s.
In reality, US presidents have been shot at and threatened habitually. The polarization of the upcoming election in November, however, has made it so that every incident of this kind has taken on a new significance in the public eye and spin doctor’s repertoires.

From the confusing headline, to the portrayal of these events out of sequence that leaves todays average reader to suppose it is Trump supporters who are violent when this couple had routinely targeted people for their trump beliefs, to the suggestion that the hatred directed towards Trump and his supporters is within the realm of normal- this is not journalism. I’d like to hear the perspective of the people who were attacked with a vehicle in their own yard
