DAZN Doubles Down on France, Appoints Brice Daumin as CEO France & Switzerland
Daumin said that joining DAZN France was a no-brainer

DAZN Group, the world’s daily destination for sports fans, has enhanced its leadership with a new addition to its C-suite. According to the announcement, the experienced Brice Daumin will join DAZN’s team as chief executive officer of its French and Swiss operations.
In his new position, the appointee will be responsible for overseeing DAZN’s growth in France. To that end, he will leverage his 25+ years of experience in the French media sector. Previously, he worked for Canal+, the premier French audiovisual media group, spending six years with the channel and then another 10 with Cannal+ Suisse.
Prior to that, Daumin worked as customer services deputy director at Club-Internet / T-Online France. His earlier experiences include a managerial position at Vertone and a four-year stint with CESIA.
In his new position, Daumin will report directly to Alice Mascia, DAZN’s group marketing officer and CEO of DACH.
With this new appointment, DAZN reaffirmed its commitment to France, promising local sports fans the best selection of combat sports and soccer content.
France Offers Significant Growth Opportunities
Daumin commented on his new position, saying that joining DAZN France was a no-brainer. He praised the company for its cutting-edge offer in multiple other European markets, such as Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
Daumin praised DAZN for delivering a fantastic service “in a way that works for fans and rights holders.” He also highlighted the clear business opportunities for DAZN in France:
The opportunities for further growth in France are clear, especially when you look at the expanding range of sports entertainment products DAZN is creating – e-commerce, ticketing, social experiences and gaming. The French sports fan is ready for a new experience, one that DAZN will deliver.

With his extensive in-market experience across our strategic imperatives – customer focus, commercial development, and distribution – Brice will play a key role in our long-term development in France. This is a clear statement of DAZN’s commitment to France and our ambition to continue growing in this exciting sports entertainment market.
