DraftKings Adds Live Dealer Casino Games in West Virginia

Sports gambling company DraftKings announced today its online casino offering in West Virginia has expanded effective Friday, June 24, 2022, offering players in the state more iGaming products including live dealer games.
Live Dealer Games, Shared Multiplayer Environment
The addition of live dealer casino games will offer DraftKings’ players in West Virginia to compete against other players while playing roulette, baccarat, infinite blackjack, and others at shared tables as the games will substitute the Random Number Generator (RNG) software with real casino dealers.
DraftKings introduced its online casino in West Virginia almost two years ago when it launched its suite of virtual, branded table games and popular slots in association with Hollywood Casino at Charlestown Races in July 2020.
Online casino players in the state were offered access to games, including blackjack, roulette, three card poker, and keno via the standalone DraftKings Casino mobile app and through integration in the DraftKings Sportsbook app.
As part of the product expansion, West Virginians can also play one of the operator’s most popular games, Rocket, to test their instincts and try and win real-money payouts within a shared multiplayer environment and an interactive interface. Built in-house, the game is unlike any other game available on DraftKings Casino to date and can be found exclusively on DraftKings.
Committed to Responsible Gaming
The online casino games expansion in the Mountain State is the latest display of DraftKings’ commitment to providing its customers across regulated gaming markets with unmatched, engaging, and exciting gaming experiences, implementing the latest industry innovations.
DraftKings Casino customers can pick from over 500 games offering them a chance to win millions of prizes every month while playing within a safe and responsible gaming environment. Earlier in the month, DraftKings teamed with responsible gaming charity BetBlocker to further promote safe play and BetBlocker’s responsible gambling tools.
Committed to protecting the vulnerable with technology, training, resources, and evidence-based research, DraftKings received public recognition for its responsible gaming contributions by the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling.
As a leader in digital sports entertainment and gaming, the Boston-based operator is doubling down on its efforts to create pathways for people to build, create, imagine and innovate via its S.E.R.V.E.S. program.
DraftKings Casino is currently available in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, as well as in the Canadian province of Ontario.
