Guests can visit the DraftKings Sportsbook to wager with one of the biggest betting companies in the United States

The Queen Baton Rouge, a brand-new gaming establishment constructed at the site of the former Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge, has finally opened its doors. The venue sports a cutting-edge DraftKings Sportsbook that also just celebrated its opening.
The transformation of Hollywood Casino into The Queen Baton Rouge was announced in 2020 following the property’s acquisition by Casino Queen Holding Company. The company has now concluded the $85 million redevelopment of the property.
The Queen Baton Rouge is a big casino with over 700 gaming machines and 18 gaming tables. Visitors can enjoy a variety of gaming offerings, such as poker, craps, blackjack and roulette.
The property also has a number of places to dine or have a drink, such as 3 Woks Noodle Bar, Big Chicken, The Loft at 1717 and Capitol Coffee.
Players can also join the property’s loyalty program and become Queen Rewards members. Members can earn more points than non-members and exchange them for a variety of promotions and discounts.
DraftKings Players Can Enjoy Premium Experiences
In addition, guests can visit the permanent DraftKings Sportsbook to wager with one of the biggest betting companies in the United States.
The DraftKings Sportsbook at The Queen Baton Rouge has 20 kiosks and 4 betting windows, allowing players to enjoy wagering on sports in a premium environment. The sportsbook has a 28-foot-wide video wall where sports aficionados can follow the latest developments in professional sports, never missing a beat.
The sportsbook also boasts a dedicated smoking area where smokers can relax. Furthermore, players can enjoy a full bar and lounge-style seating.
The opening of the property and the DraftKings Sportsbook was attended by a number of notables. This included The Queen Gaming & Entertainment’s president and chief executive officer, Terry Downey, and Baton Rouge’s Mayor-President, Sharon Weston Broome.
The opening was also attended by chair Ronnie Johns, a representative of the Louisiana Gaming Control Board and Matt Flynn, an ex-National Football League quarterback.
In other news, DraftKings just announced the launch of a new commercial featuring its new tagline “The crown is yours,” as well as two of its brand ambassadors.
