Seidel, a Poker Hall of Famer, now joins an exclusive group of players with ten bracelets, including poker luminaries such as Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan, and the late Doyle Brunson. Phil Hellmuth, with a staggering 17 bracelets, remains the sole player with more WSOP victories than Seidel.
Reflecting on his achievement, Seidel expressed the joy of reaching the coveted double-digit bracelet milestone. Seidel shared during a post-victory interview: “Any time you win a bracelet is just an incredibly special thing. To get to ten, I don’t know, it’s a beautiful feeling. It’s just so nice when things go well like this.”
The $50,000 Super High Roller event attracted a formidable field of 137 entries, amassing a substantial prize pool of $6,850,000, with 21 players cashing in. Seidel faced stiff competition at the final table, featuring notable players such as Seth Gottlieb, Jason Koon, and Alex Foxen.
Seidel’s journey to the bracelet involved navigating through a challenging heads-up battle against Seth Gottlieb, whom Seidel acknowledged as a “dangerous” opponent. Despite the pressure, Seidel emerged victorious, clinching the title with a final hand that showcased his strategic prowess.
