Euro 2024 Outright Winner Odds, Time, and Prediction

The 2024 UEFA European Football Championship a.k.a. Euro 2024 will be held in Germany from Friday, June 24 to Sunday, July 14. The obvious question is which national team will become the champion of the continent

Who’s going to win the 2024 Euro? Will it be the No. 1 betting favorite England, a national team that came super close to winning it three years ago but was denied by Italy who won the title after a penalty shootout?

Or will it be the host nation Germany, whose superstars are slowly coming to the end of their careers? Or maybe we’ll see the World Cup runners-up France get ahold of the trophy.

If you’d like to see what we think about all this, just keep on reading our Euro 2024 prediction.

As you can see in the list above, the Euro 2024 winner odds suggest England is the team that’s most likely to win. No surprise there as England finished second the last time around.

The No. 2 team on the list of the top Euro 2024 favorites is France, the current World Cup runner-up that lost the title to Lionel Messi’s Argentina after a penalty shootout.

In addition to those two teams, there are another three that have Euro 2024 odds to win of under +1000. Those are, namely, Germany, Spain, and Portugal.

Top UEFA Euro 2024 Favorites

Three years ago, England finished second in the Euros, losing to Italy in the final. They lost on penalties after 1-1 in regulation. All of the players who played for England in that game are still active players.

No surprise there as when the last Euros was played, they were in their early or mid-20s. Three years later, players like Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Decklan Rice, and others seem to be in their prime.

It’s almost exactly the same when it comes to the French national soccer team. Practically all of France’s key players are still very young, but they all have plenty of experience playing at a top level. Among those are Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Marcus Thuram, etc.

When it comes to the No. 3 UEFA Euro 2024 favorite Germany, this team’s crucial players are already in their 30s. For players like Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos, and Manuel Neuer, this could be the final major tournament.

Best Sleeper for the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship

Which national team is given super long odds, but still stands a very good chance of going far at the 2024 Euros? We think it’s Ukraine.

First of all, Ukrainians are motivated to do well in this tournament so that they could bring some happy moments to their nation that’s been in the war with Russia for over two years.

Secondly, even if they had no particular motivation, they’d still probably do fine for a simple reason – these guys are incredibly talented.

Ukraine has some amazing players in practically every position on the field, starting with Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. In the middle of the field, they’ve got players like Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko, Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk, and Genoa’s Ruslan Malinovskyi.

Over in the final third, they have plenty of amazing option, most notably, Artem Dovbyk, who is the highest-scoring player in Spanish La Liga in the 2023-24 season. For all these reasons, we predict that Ukraine will go far in the Euros, but will they be able to win the trophy?

Euro 2024 Outright Prediction

We think that France is the best national team in Europe. This team has at least one fantastic player for every position on the pitch. Plus, they also have Kylian Mbappe who is someone who can win games on his own.

On top of everything, France is neighboring Germany, the tournament’s host country. That said, you can be certain that Mbappe & Co. will have tens of thousands of their fans to support them from the stands in every single game.
