EveryMatrix Onboards Marc Burroughes as CasinoEngine CCO
Burroughes, who was described as an industry veteran with over twenty years of experience in the online casino industry, will respond to CasinoEngine CEO Stian Enger

EveryMatrix has announced yet another C-suite appointment, this time naming the experienced Marc Burroughes as the chief commercial officer (CCO) of its Casino division. The group’s CEO welcomed the appointee and highlighted his impressive track record across the B2B sector.
The Appointee Will Lead the CasinoEngine Division
As CEO of the casino division, driven by CasinoEngine, Burroughes will be responsible for the unit’s commercial strategy. He will leverage his expertise to power CasinoEngine’s commercial strategy, securing the division’s success.
CasinoEngine, for context, is EveryMatrix’s flagship integration platform, which powers its global tier-1 operator partners, enabling growth and success. The CasinoEngine business unit furthermore generated some EUR 2.8 million in GGR for EveryMatrix’s clients in 2024 alone, and processed some 73 billion game rounds.
As CCO of the unit, Burroughes will respond directly to Stian Enger, chief executive officer of the division. According to EveryMatrix, the new appointee’s responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Defining and setting the commercial strategy for CasinoEngine
- Delivering the forthcoming EngageSuite product (either ecosystem or loyalty and gamification ecosystem) to existing and new clients
- Working closely with the SlotMatrix and EveryMatrix Games teams to help customers move to a full platform solution
Burroughes Is a Decorated Industry Veteran
Burroughes was described as an industry veteran with over twenty years of experience in the online casino industry. During that time, he served a variety of B2B leaders, such as IGT, Light & Wonder, and OpenBet, among others. Most recently, he served as senior commercial director of aggregation at IGT.
According to EveryMatrix, Burroughes boasts “extensive commercial experience setting strategies and managing tier-1 customers in integrating content from leading game studios, platforms and aggregation solutions.”
Ebbe Groes, co-founder and chief executive officer of EveryMatrix, welcomed Burroughes on board, praising his experience with some of the company’s most influential competitors.
As we continue to grow at pace, and as our casino business unit goes from strength-to-strength, we’re looking to accelerate this even further in the months and years ahead under Marc’s commercial leadership.
Ebbe Groes, co-founder & CEO, EveryMatrix
Burroughes also commented on his appointment, saying that joining EveryMatrix has been a no-brainer for him. He lauded the company for its strengths and said that he is looking forward to joining its team on its journey to growth.
The group’s casino division is among the best I’ve seen in my 17 years in the industry and it still has room to significantly grow. I want to maximize all the opportunities we’ve identified and I’m confident we can achieve some big targets.
Marc Burroughes, CCO, CasinoEngine
The announcement of Burroughes’ appointment as chief commercial officer comes a week after EveryMatrix announced the appointment of a new chief commercial officer for its SlotMatrix content platform. Björn Sjöberg who joined the team from competitor Evolution Gaming will now leverage his corporate experience to help the SlotMatrix division grow.
