Fanatics Confirms Sportsbook Launch in Kansas
The leading sports betting operator confirmed that the details of PointsBet customers in the state will be migrated to its Fanatics Sportsbook

The global digital sports platform, Fanatics Holdings, announced that its subsidiary, Fanatics Betting and Gaming, launched its services in Kansas, continuing its expansion across the country. Thanks to the market launch, visitors and residents in the state will now have the option to download the Fanatics Sportsbook application which is available for both Android and iOS devices.
As noted, the launch complements Fanatics’ growth across the country. In fact, the rollout of the company’s sportsbook application in Kansas represents the seventeenth US market entry.
The expansion to Kansas came as a result of the acquisition of PointsBet’s US-facing assets by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. This strategic takeover was announced back in August 2023. Upon announcing its launch in Kansas, Fanatics confirmed that the details, including username and password, account balance, responsible gaming settings and rewards points of PointsBet’s former customers in the state will be transferred to the Fanatics Sportsbook.
The strategic launch brings a wide range of features for Kansas bettors and sports aficionados. Using the Fanatics Sportsbook, customers aged 21 and older can now use the app’s features, including Search and Discover. Tapping into Fanatics’ industry-leading search functionality, bettors can access search via synonyms or aliases, autocomplete and recent searches. At the same time, the search feature allows them to tap directly into the betting action.
On the other hand, the Discover page allows bettors and sports fans to view popular promotions, trending bets and important games. According to Fanatics, the Discover page will undergo personalization that helps match the customers’ preferences.
Besides the aforementioned functionalities, Kansas bettors can also benefit from FanCash. Currently, Fanatics is the only sportsbook in the United States that allows its customers to gain up to 5% back on their wagers in the form of FanCash.
Kansas Launch Follows Roll out in New York
The recent launch in Kansas comes during a busy period for Fanatics. Earlier this month, the company confirmed the launch of its sportsbook in New York. Similarly to the latest launch, the company said that Fanatics Sportsbook will replace PointsBet’s app, migrating the details of the existing customers.
More recently, Fanatics was among several operators that combined efforts for the creation of the Responsible Online Gaming Association (ROGA), an initiative that seeks to fight off problem gambling. Besides Fanatics, ROGA members include DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Hard Rock Digital, bet365 and Penn Entertainment.
The leading gaming and betting operators have pledged more than $20 million to fund the new Association. Ultimately, ROGA seeks to make a difference by helping develop responsible gaming practices and engage in research.
