Game of Thrones Lottery Scratch-off from Scientific Games Hits US Market
The Colorado Lottery is the first lottery in the country to roll out the much-anticipated Game of Thrones-themed scratch off, Fast Play and iLottery games

Last summer, the leading supplier of lottery technology, products and services to lotteries across the globe, Scientific Games (SG), announced it signed a licensing deal with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment. The collaboration represented an expansion of an existing agreement between the duo that saw SG secure rights for the development of GAME OF THRONES-themed (GOT) lottery games.
Now, SG confirmed that the Colorado Lottery is the first lottery in the United States to introduce the much-expected GOT-themed lottery Linked Game. Under a collaboration between the supplier and the Lottery, players in the state will now be able to experience the thrill and excitement of the new scratch-off games based on the HBO blockbuster TV series.
In addition to GOT-branded instant scratch games, players can access Fast Play and iLottery games. Besides mouth-watering prizes, lottery aficionados and GOT fans alike can benefit from a once-in-a-lifetime “The Seven Kingdoms Experience” thanks to an experimental prize package.
Tina Hoover, SG’s VP of licensing, revealed that the latest launch marks a thrilling moment for the company and complements its goal to continue innovating the sector. “We worked with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment to create an immersive GAME OF THRONES-themed winners experience and to deliver a top-notch winners’ event that we’ve refined over the past 17 years doing prize trips for more than 5,000 lottery players,” she explained. Hoover revealed that so far there’s significant interest in The Seven Kingdoms Experience, which is why a second such event is being considered.
A Much-Anticipated Lottery Game That Offers a Chance for a Unique Experience
Tom Seaver, Colorado Lottery’s director, was also delighted about the new GOT-themed scratch game. “It’s been a great addition to our game lineup, and as the sales numbers show, it is performing really well for us,” he added.
“Our players are very excited to play the GAME OF THRONES scratch game.“

The unique event, The Seven Kingdoms Experience, will include select winners. The one-in-a-lifetime event will take place in Napa Valley, California, next year, at a medieval-style castle winery.
The thrilling activation will separate the lucky winners into seven different “Houses,” mirroring the famous House Stark, House Targaryen and House Lannister from the hit HBO series. Trip winners will have a chance to participate in different branded games. They will be given an opportunity to win a share of up to $7 million, among other prizes.
