GGPoker to Onboard PokerArabia’s Player Base
The arrangement was described as a significant milestone for the two companies

GGPoker, the World’s Biggest Poker Room, will welcome the Middle East-oriented poker room PokerArabia to the GGPoker family. PokerArabia, which is the region’s only government-licensed online poker room, will join the GGPoker in what the latter company called a “significant milestone” in its ongoing commitment to open access to global liquidity to online poker markets across the globe.
A New Chapter for PokerArabia Players
PokerArabia, for context, is based in Lebanon and managed by Casino Du Liban, a government-licensed company that has operated since 1957. Under the agreement, it will migrate its player base to the award-winning GGPoker platform. The shift is scheduled to happen on September 1, 2024, GGPoker announced.
This integration will merge the PokerArabia customer base into the world’s largest and most dynamic poker community. As a result, players in the Middle East will be able to access the richest and most prestigious online poker tournaments in the world.
According to GGPoker, this collaboration highlights it “dedication to innovation, excellence, and global outreach in the online poker industry.”
Executives Are Thrilled to Change the Game
Sarne Lightman, GGPoker’s managing director, expressed his enthusiasm about the deal, saying that his team is thrilled to welcome PokerArabia’s players on board. He added that the tie-up underscores GGPoker’s commitment to making poker available to all.
Lebanese players can now look forward to joining the world’s biggest poker community and competing in the best games and biggest tournaments available anywhere.

Jad Gharios, chairman and chief executive officer of Onlive Support Services, the operator of BetArabia and PokerArabia by Casino du Liban license, was likewise pleased with the agreement. He said that his team is always looking to provide its clients with experiences that defy their expectations and provide them with unparalleled excitement. To that end, Gharios and his team considered the partnership with GGPoker to be the best course of action.
We look forward to the online launch, offering WSOP Online to the region, and hosting a live WSOP event at the historically-acclaimed Casino du Liban in the near future.
Jad Gharios, chair & CEO, Onlive Support Services
The integration comes just ahead of the 33 bracelets on offer at GGPoker’s WSOP Online 2024.
