GLI Certifies R. Franco’s IRIS Platform in Puerto Rico
Securing the certification recognizes that the platform meets the compliance for the regulated betting sector in the country

The leading provider of technologies, powering gaming and betting operators, R. Franco Technologies SLU, announced it secured a compliance certificate for its IRIS platform. On Friday, the company which is a part of R. Franco Group, confirmed that it secured the certificate for its platform from the globally recognized authority in gaming testing and certification, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI). The certificate recognizes the compliance of the platform with the Sports Wagering Rules and Regulations for the regulated gambling sector in Puerto Rico.
The latest certification reaffirms R. Franco Technologies’ dedication to meeting the highest regulatory standards for the online gambling sector. Moreover, it reaffirms its dedication to offering reliable, secure and compliant solutions for its partners in the country. Effectively, the certificate recognizes that R. Franco Technologies’ platform is in line with the established regulations for sports betting by the gambling regulator in Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission.
The latest announcement comes after R. Franco Technologies announced it secured a new Event Wagering Systems compliance certification from GLI back in September. At the time, the company confirmed it was awarded the GLI-33 v1.1 Event Wagering Systems certificate. Now, the new certificate in Puerto Rico reaffirms the company’s dedication to meeting compliance requirements.
Currently, the IRIS platform is renowned for its innovative technology. The platform stands out with customer-centric features and to secure the certification, it has undergone extensive evaluation and testing by GLI.
The Achievement Brings Excitement to R. Franco, GLI
Karen Sierra-Hughes, GLI’s VP of Latin America, Caribbean, said on the topic: “We are excited about R. Franco Technologies’ decision to enter the Puerto Rico market and congratulate them for becoming one of the first Ibero-American companies to achieve certification for the jurisdiction.”
She explained that one of GLI’s goals is to propel the growth of Spanish iGaming operators and providers. Finally, Sierra-Hughes said that GLI remains committed to supporting R. Franco Technologies’ growth around the world.

Finally, Ruipérez explained that R. Franco plans to help propel the growth of the gambling sector in Puerto Rico.
