GoldenPark Granted Online Casino & Sports Betting Licenses in Portugal

GoldenPark, a sports betting and casino gaming operator licensed by the Spanish gambling regulator, Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ), has obtained licenses to operate online casino and sports betting in neighboring Portugal.

Three-Year Authorization

Portugal’s Gaming Regulation and Inspection Service (SRIJ) published a statement on its website to announce that Azartia Games, a company under the GoldenPark brand, has been given the rights to operate online games of chance and sports betting in the country.

Signed by the SRIJ on June 23, 2023, the licenses authorize Azartia Games to offer online casino gaming and wagering on sports for a period of three years and will expire on June 22, 2026, and the company plans to entice online casino players in Portugal with its product offering.

Partnering with some of the most popular developers of casino games in the world such as Microgaming, Novomatic, Pragmatic Play, Inspired, and others, GoldenPark plans to offer local players its extensive catalog comprising slot games, blackjack, traditional and live dealer roulette, video poker and others.

For avid sports bettors, GoldenPark will provide online wagering opportunities on a wide range of betting markets from sporting events around the world to make for a memorable experience.

Presence in Land-Based Gaming

Besides operating an iGaming platform, GoldenPark is live in the land-based gambling vertical, running more than 30 gaming rooms in Spain.
