Green Bay Packers Hoping for Another Miracle
In the Wild Card Round, the Packers defeated the Cowboys 48-32. The reason why this was so unexpected is that the Cowboys had been without a single loss at home since September 2022. So, what happened?
Their quarterback Jordan Love put on a stellar performance, going 16-for21 for 272 yards and three touchdowns, without any interceptions. It was just the opposite in the case of Dallas’ QB Dak Prescott, who got completely outplayed by Green Bay’s defense which forced him to throw three interceptions.
It was arguably the best performance of the Packers this season, but is that enough? They’ve already achieved much more than they were expected to, so losing to the NFC No. 1 seed on Saturday would not be too much of a disappointment.
San Francisco 49ers to Take Things Seriously
The Niners are among the top Super Bowl favorites, which is no surprise given that they finished the regular season as the No 1. Seed in the NFC. This gave them a week off to prepare for the Divisional Round.
It’s likely that they were preparing for a game with the Dallas Cowboys, so they’ll probably have to switch up their game plan slightly for the coming weekend. The good news for their fans, however, is that even with no preparation, they look good enough to beat the Packers.
These guys have so many weapons in their arsenal, not to mention that the NFC Divisional game is played on their turf. That said, it would be a real shocker if they didn’t win on Saturday. In fact, the only big question ahead of this game is whether they will cover the 10-point spread. So, will they?
