2025 MLS Odds Favor Houston Dynamo to Win on March 2
Houston started its 2025 MLS campaign with a loss in the Texas Derby. FC Dallas beat them in Houston 2:1. That’s a disappointing result, but these guys can feel good about their performance.
They did okay in that game but were unlucky not to score more than once. But that happened against FC Dallas, a team with a pretty decent defense.
Houston’s next opponent has great defenders, but the fact is that the Herons tend to concede a lot of goals. For example, the last time Houston played against Miami, they won 2:1.
This happened in the US Open Cup Final in 2023, in which Griffin Dorsey and Amine Bassi scored for the Dynamo.
Speaking of these guys, they’re in top form. Bassi scored the only goal for Houston last weekend, while Dorsey was the man who made the assist.
Inter Miami Going for Their First Win of 2025
Inter Miami is the No. 1 favorite to win the 2025 MLS Cup, which is why it’s kind of surprising that Lionel Messi & Co. are seen as underdogs in Sunday’s game with Houston.
They weren’t very impressive in the first game of the 2025 MLS, but there’s an explanation for that. Their defender Tomas Aviles got red-carded in the 23rd minute of the game, so they played with 10 men for most of the time.
Despite that, they still managed to get themselves a point. It was thanks to Telasco Segovia who scored the equalizer in the 10th minute of stoppage time on an assist by Lionel Messi.
