iGB and Glücksspielwesen Unveil Strategic Tie-up
The two parties seek to establish a forum for industry professionals and policymakers to engage on equal terms

iGaming Business (iGB), a Clarion Gaming-owned gambling news outlet, has teamed up with Glücksspielwesen.de, the gambling-oriented arm of Behörden Spiegel, a monthly news title for public servants. The agreement seeks to spark discussions about Germany’s gambling regulations.
As agreed, iGB will “leverage its gaming audience to connect the industry with Glücksspielwesen’s network of policy analysts, advisers and politicians.” This will allow the two parties to encourage debates and discussion.
In addition, the two news outlets will participate in a number of joint activations, including launching co-branded content, hosting webinars and supporting events that bring the gambling industry and Germany’s politicians together.
The new agreement comes several months after the Gemeinsamen Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL), Germany’s new federal regulator, assumed responsibility for gambling in the European country.
iGB and Glücksspielwesen Share the Same Values
Representatives commented on the new tie-up with Robert Hess, senior consultant for Behörden Spiegel praising Clarion Gaming, iGB’s parent company, as a “champion of information in the gaming and gambling industry.”
Since Glücksspielwesen.de is a reliable and trusted German information platform, the two companies have natural synergies, Hess said. He added that the two companies will complement each other.
Both networks complement one another with their respective strengths and will help each other to expand their reach as reputable sources of information in all matters relating to the exciting market of gaming and gambling.

In the meantime, Robin Harrison, Clarion Gaming’s global content director of B2B, said that his team is committed to leveraging its global network to “advance the interests” of the gambling industry. To that end, Clarion and iGB will work together with Glücksspielwesen.de to provide a “forum for industry professionals and policymakers to engage on level terms.”
Harrison echoed Hess’ sentiments, saying that Clarion and Behörden Spiegel share the same commitment to highlighting the good sides of the gambling industry.
We’re excited to partner with an organization that shares our commitment to showcasing the positive social and economic contribution made by the industry, while advocating for a safer, more sustainable and diverse sector.

Speaking of Clarion Gaming, the industry expert recently announced its intentions to move its flagship ICE event to Barcelona. This came several days after the company successfully extended its ICE partnership agreement with the European Casino Association.
