Inter Miami Going for a Win
The Herons’ recent form isn’t great, but they definitely have the potential to turn things around. After losing 1:0 to LAFC last week in the continental competition, they drew 1:1 with Toronto in the 2025 MLS.
Lionel Messi scored the only Inter Miami goal that day, as well as got another goal disallowed due to a foul.
What’s interesting is that Inter Miami created 23 shots on goal that day but failed to find the net more than once.
It was the highest number of goal chances Inter Miami’s players created in a game in the entire 2025 campaign. Obviously, they’re in the mood for playing soccer, but they need to be more focused on the attack.
Los Angeles FC Not Doing Great on the Road
LAFC’s players have been pretty decent in 2025, but their away record isn’t impressive. In fact, they lost five of their last six games on the road in all competitions.
Last weekend, we saw them lose 1:0 to the Houston Dynamo in Texas. LAFC created 10 goal chances, but only two of those were directed toward the net.
This is somewhat surprising given that LAFC’s roster is packed with amazing attackers – Olivier Giroud, Denis Bouanga, Cengiz Under, etc.
LAFC’s defense also has some pretty decent players, most notably, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. This explains why these guys kept a clean sheet in three of their last four games. Unfortunately for their fans, doing the same again on Wednesday isn’t very likely to happen.
Inter Miami vs. LAFC Prediction
Our Inter Miami vs. Los Angeles prediction is that we’re going to see more goals than a week ago. The Herons have no other option but to go all-in on the offense from the very first moment. And if they score a goal or two, LAFC will have to switch to an ultra-attacking mode as well.
As a result, “over 2.5” looks like a sure bet. What about the match-winner bet? Although we expect a close game, we do think Inter Miami are much more likely to win. After all, they have Lionel Messi on the roster.
