Jacksonville Jaguars Keep Struggling
After losing the first games of the 2024 NFL season, the Jaguars beat the Indianapolis Colts 37:34. It was a tense game, especially in the fourth quarter, but the Jags did get the job done. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw 28-for-34 for 371 yards. He produced two passing touchdowns, while one of his passes got intercepted.
The QB had a fine game, but it’s Jacksonville’s running back Tank Bigsby who stole the show. He made 13 carries for 101 yards, scoring two touchdowns along the way.
Their defense, however, wasn’t great, but that’s been the case throughout the season. In fact, with 28.6 points conceded per game, they’re the 3rd-worst defense in the league.
Chicago Bears Favored to Win in London
The Chicago Bears are seen as favorites to win the Week 6 London game. The main reason is that they’ve been doing alright so far this season. They’re 3-2 in 2024, with their losses happening on the road. They lost to the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts, scoring a total of 29 points in those two games.
When it comes to their wins, all three of them happened at Soldier Field. In each of those, they scored 20+ points. Against the Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Rams, they scored 24 each time. In their most recent game, they scored 36 points against the Carolina Panthers.
Obviously, their offense isn’t great but given that most of their key men are young, this team’s got plenty of potential. However, the question is whether they’ll be able to score a lot in England. They did score 41 points against JAX in their most recent duel. However, that happened almost four years ago.
Jaguars vs. Bears Predictions
The Jaguars are fine offensively, but their defense has been horrible in the 2024 NFL season. The good news is that they’re taking on the Chicago Bears, whose offense isn’t too productive.
Plus, the Bears don’t seem to love playing away from home. And this Sunday, they’re playing 4,000 miles away from home. For all these reasons, we believe that the Jaguars will be able to stage an upset.
