LATAM Betmotion Teams with UFC Fighter Mackenzie Dern

Leading Latin American sports betting operator Betmotion announced an expansion of its portfolio of sponsorship in sports with the addition of UFC fighter Mackenzie Dern.

Betmotion and the holder of 10 wins and 1 loss record Mackenzie Dern signed a one-year sponsorship deal under the terms of which the sports betting firm acquired rights to use the brand image of the women’s strawweight fighter for promotional purposes in social media and on its website.

MMA is hugely popular in Brazil as the country is home to a number of current and former UFC champions among which Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida, Deiveson Figueredo, Jose Aldo and others.

The opportunity for Betmotion to use the image of currently ranked 11th in the strawweight division Mackenzie Dern for autographed items and sweepstakes will generate further sports fans engagement and customer acquisition opportunities for the sports betting operator.

Brazilian Sports Portfolio Expands

The agreement with Betmotion made the Brasilian-American UFC fighter the latest Brazilian sports figure to join the expanding sports portfolio of the sportsbook, after the operator welcomed football player Cristiane Rozeira in November last year.

Before Cristiane, the aggressively expanding sports betting and iGaming operator entered into a marketing agreement with Brazilian swimming hero, World Champion and Olympic medalist Fernando Scherer.

Mackenzie Dern’s deal with Betmotion follows in the footsteps of other MMA fighters who entered into sponsorship deals with betting and gaming operators, like UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya who teamed with crypto betting website Stake.com and Conor McGregor who became a brand ambassador for Parimatch.
