Light & Wonder Extends Partnership with Warner Bros Discovery
The newly extended collaboration is expected to deliver thrilling new online games, starting with a digital version of the evergreen Willy Wonka: World of Wonka

The leading iGaming content and solutions developer, Light & Wonder, announced it expanded its collaboration with the globally-recognized Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment (WBDGTE). Details regarding the new collaboration emerged Wednesday and will see Light & Wonder develop new thrilling online games.
Under the new multi-year global licensing deal with Warner Bros, the iGaming developer will be able to expand its portfolio of offering by delivering titles such as Willy Wonka: World of Wonka, an iconic game that has been a fan-favorite for decades within the land-based gambling sector. Now, thanks to the collaboration, Light & Wonder will be able to extend this popularity and deliver an online equivalent of the game that is expected to cater to new audiences.
Although Willy Wonka: World of Wonka will be the first such game, the collaboration will enable Light & Wonder to deliver more thrilling titles. Such will include the online counterpart of the land-based hit game, The Wizard of Oz: Road to Emerald City. Moreover, the new strategic deal will bring more branded games from Warner Bros, allowing Light & Wonder to tap into new audiences and bring thrilling experiences. Besides the aforementioned titles, the iGaming developer and aggregator confirmed that it plans further releases into 2024 and beyond.
The Company Remains Committed to Grow
Dylan Slaney, Light & Wonder’s CEO iGaming, spoke about the iconic brand portfolio by Warner Bros that helped deliver some of the most popular casino games such as Willy Wonka: World of Wonka. “To bring this title online for the first time is incredibly exciting and we can’t wait to deliver for our operator partners and their players,” he added.
Finally, Slaney confirmed that the new agreement marks a move in the right direction for the company that continues to grow and deliver a unique and entertaining portfolio of games for the gambling vertical.
“The Warner Bros. Discovery brand portfolio is legendary, and our partnership has led to the creation of some of the world’s most popular casino content, including Willy Wonka: World of Wonka.“

Willy Wonka: World of Wonka is a hit land-based casino game that is inspired by the 1971 movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The game has proven its popularity across gaming floors in the United States, as well as around the world.
The digital version of the game from Light & Wonder is expected to be released in the US, UK, as well as European markets. As noted, the company confirmed that it plans to continue growing its portfolio of content and deliver more Wonka-themed games in the near future. At the same time, the latest multi-year partnership expansion further complements Light & Wonder’s plan for further growth and development.
