The new slot game, inspired by the famous Netflix series, will be presented on the HORIZON cabinet

The manufacturer and developer of gambling products, renowned for their high quality and thrilling gameplay, Light & Wonder, announced its plans to showcase a new slot machine at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo (G2E). The provider confirmed Friday that at G2E it will present for the first time its brand-new Squid Game slot machine. As the name of the game suggests, it is inspired by the world-famous and most popular Netflix series of all time, Squid Game.
The new slot, matching the iconic series, will feature distinct games. Inspired by the series, Light & Wonder’s slot will include games such as Red Light, Green Light, Tug of War and The Glass Tile. The slot is expected to be a smashing hit and will mark its debut on HORIZON, the company’s new large-screen jumbo cabinet.
Visitors of G2E will be able to experience the new Squid Game slot at booth #1116. Moreover, they will be able to receive more information regarding the game’s online version. According to Light & Wonder, the Squid Game slot is expected to mark its debut in casinos next year.
The New Game Will Bring Unrivaled Experiences
Matt Wilson, Light & Wonder’s CEO, revealed that the company is delighted to join forces with Netflix to help deliver the iconic series to the gaming vertical. Moreover, he acknowledged that Light & Wonder was the first gaming company to team up with Netflix for the famous series. “We’ve seen how combining fan-favorite shows with immersive gameplay can resonate with audiences both digitally and on casino floors,” he added. Finally, Wilson predicted that the HORIZON cabinet along with the new game will deliver unique and engaging experiences for the players.
“Light & Wonder is proud to be the first slots gaming company in the industry to partner with Netflix’s Squid Game and bring this ground-breaking show to life across multiple casino gaming platforms.“
