Lottoland Appoints Antonio Villaverde as President of Legal

Lottoland has brought former Mr Green head of legal Antonio Torralba Villaverde as the company’s new vice president of legal. The appointment reflects Lottoland’s commitment to ensuring that it remains compliant as it seeks to navigate new and changing markets in the iGaming experience.
Torralba’s most recent position saw him working for StubHub where he served as legal director between July 2019 and May 2022. His latest appointment as part of Lottoland’s team is a continuation of Villaverde’s professional path in the gambling industry.
He worked as president of legal for Mr Green between October 2017 and May 2019 and he has experience as a lawyer working in both Germany and Spain. The appointment was revealed briefly on LinkedIn with Villaverde sharing his enthusiasm to be a part of the company.
He will focus exclusively on ensuring that legal and compliance requirements in operational markets are met. Villaverde is expected to operate out of both Spain and Gibraltar’s offices.
