Manchester United Need to Get Up in the Standings ASAP
The Red Devils are on the way to finishing the season with the worst record in history. Right now, their worst Premier League finish was in the 2023-24 season under Erik ten Hag, when they finished 8th. In the 2024-25 season, they’re currently sitting in 14th place.
The good news is that there are still 12 rounds left in the EPL. The bad news is that the teams from the top half are 9 or more points ahead of them. What this means is that Ruben Amorim’s men need to take things seriously.
In the previous EPL round, they defeated Ipswich 3:2 at home, but it was a much more tense game than expected. Their wing-back Patrick Dorgu got red-carded in the first half, so his teammates had to work extra hard to labor a win.
They struggled against a team from the relegation zone, how will they do against a team from the No. 2 spot in the EPL?
Arsenal Need to Start Winning Again
The Gunners are second in the Prem, with 13 points fewer than Liverpool. They probably won’t be able to catch up with the Reds in the title race, especially after dropping points in their last two league games.
First, they lost to West Ham on the road; then, they drew with Nottingham. They scored no goals in those two games. Sounds bad, but there’s an explanation for that. They had serious problems with injuries, especially in the attacking department.
Unfortunately for their fans, several of their key forwards will miss the Man United vs. Arsenal game as well – Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Jesus.
Manchester United vs. Arsenal Prediction
Arsenal is the best defensive team in the league (just 23 goals conceded), so expect them to keep a clean sheet against Man United, which is the sixth-worst offense in the Prem. The Red Devils are good defensively, so they might be able to do well against Arsenal’s banged-up attack.
Pick: Under 2.5 Goals
