Maryland Man Wins $500K After Using License Plate of Aggressive Driver
Road rage is not a flattering sight, and yet, karma has an interesting way of working as a man won six figures after an aggressive driver cut him off

A driver who was cut off at a Maryland highway by an aggressive driver has turned his temporary spell of impoliteness into a six-figure payday.
Driver in Maryland Narrowly Escapes Getting Hit, Wins $500K
The man, who remains unidentified, had a quick brush with another driver who had denied him the right of way and nearly collided with him. Escaping what could have been a much worse outcome, the lucky man decided to use the numbers on the other driver’s plate to his advantage and posted a bunch of lottery tickets.
He had memorized the numbers to make a complaint against the driver but thought he might as well use the numbers on the Pick 5 game.
The man had a quick stop at Doc’s F&B Liquors in Glen Burnie and bought 10 tickets for the game, not giving them another thought nor worrying about what the winning numbers would actually be.
Having used the aggressive driver’s numbers, the lottery player was surprised to discover that they had won. Instant karma, as they say. Upon scanning his tickets, he found out that he had won $500,000 all thanks to that impolite driver.
One Man’s Reckless Driving Is Another Man’s Lottery Win
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, already has plans for how they plan to spend the win. Some of it will go towards paying various bills, they said, with the other half to be salted away for future investment and also a financial cushion they can lean against if trouble ensues.
Doc’s F&B Liquors will also get a cut, with the venue that sold the ticket getting $5,000 out of the lottery. As to the driver who almost hit the lottery winner, they are most likely none the wiser that their risky behavior on the road had had a positive impact on someone.
Unfortunately for them, the police know their plate number now.
