Monday Powerball Drawing Goes Without a Big Winner, Jackpot at $69M for Wednesday

The Monday Powerball drawing was another rather unexciting drawing for one of America’s top lottery games. While no seven-figure prizes were awarded, seven players scooped up prizes of $50,000 each.

The Monday Powerball drawing continued the lull following the two recent jackpots. While a temporary slowdown is to be expected, considering the excitement associated with recent drawings, a few players still managed to match almost all winning numbers to win five-figure prizes.

Speaking of winning numbers, the combination drawn on Monday, May 11, was 24, 30, 37, 56, and 64, plus the red Powerball 7. The Power Play for that drawing was 3x.

Matching all six numbers would have meant a windfall of $58 million. The cash value of this jackpot was $26.2 million, according to Powerball.

While no one won the jackpot or a Match 5 prize, seven players matched four white numbers plus the red Powerball to win the game’s third-tier prize. Unfortunately, none of them had the Power Play feature active and, as a result, they will take prizes of $50,000 each.

In the meantime, the jackpot has continued to grow, reaching $69 million with a cash value of $31.2 million.

Two Wins Happened Recently

As mentioned, the game is currently experiencing a slight slowdown, which is to be expected, considering the busy period Powerball went through recently.

For context, the game awarded two separate jackpots, which were won back-to-back for the first time in several years. These were notably the fourth and fifth jackpots for 2026 so far.

The first of these saw two winners share a $143 million prize. However, the real highlight of that drawing was the fact that dozens of players across America won Match 5 prizes. Despite the unusual number of winners, the lottery reassured players that the drawing was legit. As it turned out, the winning numbers drawn for that matched one of the number columns as they appear on Powerball tickets. Thanks to this, dozens of players using patterns such as this to pick numbers became millionaires.

The very next drawing saw Powerball award yet another jackpot to two other players who simultaneously matched the winning numbers to split a $20 million prize.

As of the time of this writing, the Powerball jackpot has been won 5 times in 2026.
