Earlier this month, Eilers & Krejcik Gaming suggested that Brent Musburger, the founder of The Sports Betting Network, VSiN, may be purchasing the media from the leading betting and gaming giant, DraftKings. The betting operator bought the multi-platform broadcast and content company back in March 2021 in a deal for $70 million.
Now, Musburger Media confirmed it has purchased VSiN back from DraftKings for an undisclosed sum. Confirmation about the strategic acquisition came Monday. Musburger and Bill Adee, the original founders of VSiN, will now play a key role in its future development and lead the company’s expansion.
VSiN’s customers shouldn’t expect any interruptions in the media’s coverage. The company will continue to deliver analysis, news as well as unique insights and strategies that help bettors make informed decisions. Overall, VSiN offers more than 18 hours of sports betting content every day, delivering a wide range of content.
Customers of the media can access its 24/7 stream and content via different video and audio programs, including NESN, AT&T Pittsburgh, YouTube TV and other outlets. Moreover, VSiN’s original content is available via more than 300 terrestrial radio stations across the United States.
True to its vision of delivering engaging and one-of-a-kind content, the media will continue its mission. What’s more, under the leadership of Musburger and Adee, VSiN will expand its roster of partnerships in an effort to engage with more customers across America than ever before.
DraftKings and VSiN to Continue to Collaborate in the Future
Stephanie Sherman, DraftKings’ chief marketing officer, spoke about the company’s ongoing plan to optimize its content and media investments. She said that under this plan, DraftKings seeks to: “align with the most critical areas and needs of our business strategy, objectives, and goals.”
Last but not least, Sherman thanked Musburger, Adee and VSiN’s team of experts for the effective collaboration and said that DraftKings is looking forward to continuing its advertisement collaboration with the media.
“While a lot has changed in the sports betting industry over the past three-and-a-half years, our original vision for VSiN still holds and we are committed to delivering the most credible, independent information and analysis sports bettors can find anywhere.“
Brian Musburger, founder of VSiN
Brian Musburger, VSiN’s founder, was just as excited. He spoke about the changes over the last few years but said that the network remains true to its vision of delivering credible information that bettors across the country can use.
“We truly appreciate the work we’ve done with DraftKings and look forward to continuing to collaborate on future projects,” added Musburger. Finally, he said that it will be exciting to lead VSiN together with Adee and reaffirm the network’s position in the betting vertical.
