New York Giants vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Week 8 Odds, Time, and Prediction
New York Giants vs. Pittsburgh Steelers is the Monday Night Football (MNF) game of Week 8. Even though the hosts are in better shape than the NY boys, the 2024 NFL odds don’t make them as huge favorites as you’d think

The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) demolished the New York Jets last weekend, despite entering the game as underdogs. Fast-forward to Week 8, and they’re favorites against the New York Giants (2-5), albeit only by 3.5 points. Will they cover the spread?

Can NY Giants Do Anything in Week 8 MNF Game?
The New York Giants are 2-5 in the 2024 NFL, coming into Week 8 after two straight losses. In those two games, they scored a total of just 10 points.
Obviously, their offense is to blame for their poor performances this season. They are second from the bottom when it comes to points per game, with their average being just 14.1.

Their quarterback Daniel Jones has been in poor form lately, which is why coach Brian Daboll decided to bench him in last Sunday’s game with the Eagles. He went 14/21 for 99 yards and no TDs, after which he got replaced by Drew Lock who didn’t do much better either.
What’s really worrying for the Giants fans is that their running game has been disappointing as well. Their star running back Devin Singletary hasn’t scored a single touchdown in two games, and in 2024, he’s got only two TDs.
Pittsburgh Steelers Looking Great in 2024
The Pittsburgh Steelers are 5-2 overall, with two straight wins, the most recent of which saw them demolish the New York Jets 37:15. Russell Wilson made his debut as the starting QB in that game, going 16/29 for 264 passing yards and two TDs. He also scored one rushing touchdown that evening.

It was their highest-scoring performance in the 2024 NFL season. Meanwhile, the Steelers’ defense did great as usual. They conceded under 20 points for the third time in a row. In fact, only once this season, they conceded more than 20.
What’s also very interesting is that in each of the last seven Giants vs. Steelers duels (in regular season, postseason, and preseason), they conceded no more than 20 points.
New York Giants vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Prediction
The Steelers are a fantastic team in the 2024 NFL. Their defense is second in the league with just 14.4 points conceded per game. Their offense isn’t as great but if Russ Wilson continues to play as great as he did last weekend, they’re going to do much better.
All of this means that they’re going to destroy the Giants in the Monday Night Football game.
Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5
