The Las Vegas Strip is one of the most memorable landmarks in the world, and a Minecraft player recently shared his in-game recreation of the iconic boulevard.

Minecraft Player Build Las Vegas Strip

For the past eight years, the Minecraft player Bubbaflubba has been working on a project to recreate the entire Las Vegas Strip in the popular sandbox game. Minecraft’s sandbox mechanics enable remarkable creations with a wide variety of aesthetics, prompting players to frequently attempt recreating real-world places or famous pop culture landmarks, such as the Strip.

Bubbaflubba belongs to an exclusive group of Minecraft creators who transform the game’s sandbox into stunning works of art, frequently sharing progress images that leave fans eager for downloadable maps or server access. The player has made a 1:1 copy of the world-famous boulevard, documenting his progress over the years on his YouTube channel with over 80,000 subscribers.

In a Reddit post, Bubbaflubba shared an updated aerial shot of the Las Vegas build, showcasing landmarks like the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Allegiant Stadium, and the Fountains of Bellagio, along with other iconic elements of the Las Vegas skyline. Minecraft fans were impressed by the incredible dedication and attention to detail invested in the project, with some Reddit users inquiring if Bubbaflubba plans to make the build available on a visitable server. The creator did not provide an answer to this question. Bubbaflubba has also not revealed when the project will be completed or if resort interiors will be tackled before finishing.

How Long Did It Take?

Recreating such a large piece of the iconic Las Vegas landscape takes a lot of effort. Bubbaflubba explained that he has spent thousands of hours creating every small detail from the real-life Las Vegas in the Minecraft world. In one of his latest videos, he said that the Allegiant Stadium alone took him 100 hours to research and create.

Interestingly, while Bubbaflubba is known for his meticulous attention to detail, some obvious aspects have slipped through the cracks. In his latest YouTube video, where he reconstructs Harrah’s Hotel & Casino, it becomes clear that his passion may lie more in digitally recreating Las Vegas rather than being deeply obsessed with the city itself. The player mistakenly identified the Caesars Entertainment property as being on the North Strip, which is actually in the center, and pronounced it “ha-RAHZ.”

While many were impressed with Bubbaflubba’s work, some suggested that the player does not work alone. According to some rumors, he works with a team of up to 16 players, but we couldn’t find substantial evidence to support that claim.

In addition to the Las Vegas Strip, Bubbaflubba has already taken on other iconic real-world landmarks, such as the Taj Mahal, the Sydney Opera House, and the Florence Cathedral.
