Playson Secures B2B License from Peru’s MINCETUR
Now boasting a B2B gaming license from Peru’s MINCETUR, Playson will be able to deliver cutting-edge content to operators in the LATAM country

Playson, one of the leading suppliers of digital entertainment, has expanded its geographical footprint, securing approval to launch its games in Peru. The foray into yet another Latin American country aligns with the company’s ambition to reach even more players with its cutting-edge games.
Playson Worked Tirelessly to Fulfill MINCETUR’s Requirements
Playson said that it “worked tirelessly” to meet the requirements outlined by Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR). The company has been interested in tapping into the Peru’s fresh iGaming market ever since the regulation of online gaming in the country.
Peru, for context, enacted its new gaming laws in February this year, making it the fourth LATAM country to regulate online casino gaming.
Now boasting a B2B gaming license from Peru’s MINCETUR, Playson will be able to deliver cutting-edge content to operators in the country, elevating their products and portfolios and allowing them to provide unprecedented gaming excitement to their players.
Playson will now be hard at work at securing all relevant game certifications and undergo technical audits in order to make sure that the games it will provide to gambling companies are compliant with Peru’s regulatory framework.
The B2B license in Peru, for reference, adds to six other global licenses held by Playson. The leading provider of gaming content currently holds six other global licenses, including ones from the United Kingdom’s Gambling Commission, Romania’s ONJN, Greece’s Hellenic Gaming Commission and Singapore’s GRA.
A Significant Strategic Move
According to Playson, its license in Peru “demonstrates the company’s aptitude at navigating complex regulatory landscapes and determination to deliver top-class content worldwide.”
The company added that its general counsel Felicia Andronic, head of compliance Martyna Scieszka and chief commercial officer Tamas Kusztos all played key roles in the licensing process, ensuring that Playson is answers to MINCETUR’s expectations and Peru’s stringent regulations.
CCO Kusztos commented on the new license, saying that the launch in Peru is a major milestone for his team. He lauded Peru as a promising emerging market and said that Playson hopes to establish a prominent position in the country.
As we seek to bring more engaging experiences to players in new markets, obtaining a license in Peru is a significant strategic move. The market stands out as one of the most promising in the LatAm region and we look forward to establishing a prominent position in the country.

Earlier this year, Playson formed a landmark partnership with PokerStars.
