Portugal Ready to Show Their Power
Portugal is sitting in the No. 5 position on the list of top favorites to win the 2024 Euro. Led by Spanish coach Roberto Martinez, this team has some really amazing players on the roster.
Their biggest star is Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s undoubtedly one of the greatest soccer players in history. However, Portugal’s captain is already 39, so he might not be fit enough to do well both offensively and defensively, which is what he was famous for in the past. He did, however, score two goals in Portugal’s friendly with Ireland on June 11.
The good news for Portugal is that this team isn’t a one-man army. In fact, despite Ronaldo’s influence, he’s just one of many players crucial for Portugal’s success in 2024. They have Rafael Leao, Joao Felix, Bruno Fernandes, and many, many others.
Should the Czech Republic Hope for Anything on Tuesday?
The Czech Republic is undefeated since October last year, with five wins in a row. However, there’s a caveat. In the friendly games in the lead-up to the Euro 2024, these guys played against relatively easy opponents.
In their last game, they beat North Macedonia 2-1, while before that, we saw them demolish Malta 7-1. These guys like to play offensive soccer, attacking with all they’ve got in almost every game. The problem, however, is that the Czech Republic doesn’t have too many stars with extensive experience of playing on home turf.
West Ham’s Vladimir Coufal and Tomas Soucek are this team’s best players, along with Patrick Schick from Bayer Leverkusen.
Portugal vs. Czech Republic Euro 2024 Prediction
Portugal is one of the best teams in Europe and CR7 and his teammates will show it on Tuesday. They’re going to dominate the game from the very start, scoring at least two or three goals. The Czechs will give their utmost, but we doubt they’ll do much in this game.
