Real Madrid vs. Arsenal 2025 Champions League Odds, Time, and Prediction
Real Madrid vs. Arsenal is a rematch of the 2025 Champions League quarterfinal. Eight days after the Gunners obliterated Los Blancos 3:0, the two meet again, this time at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, on Wednesday, April 16

Declan Rice proved to be Real Madrid’s kryptonite in the first match, scoring two of Arsenal’s three goals that day. But he got injured and might not be 100% fit for the Real Madrid vs. Arsenal game on April 16.
With or without him, the Gunners are in a pretty decent situation. They just need not get blown out by Los Blancos, and they’ll get to the semis. But this is Real Madrid we’re talking about, which many think of as the best team on the planet.

Real Madrid to Start the Game in Top Gear
The defending champions of the UEFA Champions League are in dire straits following the 3:0 loss to Arsenal in the first leg. But Carlo Ancelotti’s men are famous for never giving up.

They have a difficult task on their hands, but you can be certain they won’t give up without a fight. Instead, they’ll try to overcome the three-goal deficit, and the only way to do so is to go all-in on the offense from the very start.
The good news is that they have plenty of offensive weapons – Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, etc. These guys are definitely capable of scoring three or more goals this coming Wednesday. After all, that’s what they did in seven of the 13 games they’ve played so far in the 2024-25 Champions League.
Can Arsenal Get to the Semifinal?
The Gunners have a very good chance to advance to the final four of the Champions League for the first time since 2009. For that, they just need to prevent Real Madrid from beating them by more than three goals.
It seems doable, but there are some problems the Gunners are facing ahead of their trip to Spain. First of all, Declan Rice – the man who scored two spectacular free-kick goals in the first leg – is reportedly struggling with a minor injury. The same goes for Bukayo Saka.
According to manager Mikel Arteta, however, both of them are likely to recover by April 16. But the question is whether they’re going to be in their best shape.
Arsenal players who certainly won’t play on Wednesday are defenders Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel, as well as forwards Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz.
Real Madrid vs. Arsenal Prediction
We’re almost certain that Real Madrid will win this game, but the question is, will Los Blancos score enough goals to get to the semis? We’re not so sure about that, especially not if Arsenal manage to score a goal or two.
