Kylian Mbappe to Make His Real Madrid Debut
Two decades ago, Real Madrid had its Galactico crew made up of some of the biggest soccer superstars of the time – David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, and others. However, their 2024 roster might be even better.
Real Madrid now has one of the best offenses in the history of the game, with Jude Bellingham, Vini Jr., and starting with this summer, Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman is widely considered the best player in 2024 and he’s ready to start his Real Madrid journey in the game with Atalanta.
Even without him, Carlo Ancelotti’s men were able to win the Champions League with relative ease. With him in the squad, Los Blancos look capable of winning every single competition they’re in.
Can Atalanta Ruin Ral Madrid’s Plans?
The short answer is no. However, everyone thought these guys weren’t going to win the Europa League either. In the Final with Bundesliga champ Bayer Leverkusen, they were seen as +330 underdogs.
However, Gian Piero Gasperini’s men went onto the field and completely dominated the game, winning 3:0 in the end, with all three goals by Ademola Lookman. He’s still in the team and so are most of Atalanta’s key men.
Aleksey Miranchuk moved to Atalanta United, Hans Hateboer moved to Rennes, but all the others are still on the team. Plus, Atalanta signed a couple of very good players during the summer transfer window, most notably, defender Ben Godfrey from Everton and midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo from Galatasaray.
